Confirmed, there's a birth of a Sarah Everard in Denston, 1798, to Robert and Sarah.

Another vote for Landed Proprietor, and I think the birthplace could be Stowupland - http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/SFK/StowUpland

I agree with Stowupland  ;D

Difficult to read - could be Stowupland but equally, to my mind, it could be Slaughden, which is the southern end of Aldeburgh.
Suffolk: Pearl(e),  Garnham, Southgate, Blo(o)mfield,Grimwood/Grimwade,Josselyn/Gosling
Durham/Yorkshire: Sedgwick/Sidgwick, Shadforth
Ireland: Davis
Norway: Torreson/Torsen/Torrison

Thanks to all - I won't claim to be able to read that place of birth any better than the doog contributors to this thread.

But I have been searching further into "Sarah".

She was born (and married) as Sarah Boby.

It appears that the Boby family of Stowupland is well known, for some meaning of "well known"

http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/SUFFOLK/2003-06/1056657507

So Stowupland is confirmed.

My hearty thanks to all who helped!

I had looked at Sarah Boby.
Her likely Brother William remarried in London 1853 to Eliza Harriet Bynon.
His Father John Boby, Esquire
On Census he is born c 1792 - Stowupland, Suffolk.
Appears to be christened 1791 Sudbury.
