Military arrest Larry Pearson. WWII
« on: Sunday 10 September 17 08:38 BST (UK) »
As the story goes my great grandad how was a bit of a bloody character as it turns out, was supposed to have been arrested after he was captured as he done a deal and was passing info to the enemy.
I have checked for war records on forces-war-records.com paid the membership and believe I found him but not 100% it shows his records as captured but nothing about the later arrest and trial.  As we where told passed down from Larry ( who knows if it's true) he was let off on a technicality.   There is also supposed to be a plaque at Trinidad airport with his name or so we where told .... Andy help or advice greatly appreciated

Cancel your membership with war forces-It's a waste of money. As mentioned above it will be recorded in his service records held by the MOD.

Yes I searched 3 family members on there it's shocking it implies that it has valuable information all it told me was Larry would probably be untitled to 2 medals .... and he spent a the odd day in medical centre with "injury" "wound" "observation after release of captivity" it's a rip off site membership is cancelled £8 odd wasted it's the only thing we have paid for so far as it's the only line we where confident of the right person! Now I'm getting there with digging up free info on various people I will look into the best places to spend money for the right info.  Iv said already on another post of mine in here I done some reaserch to Norwegian descendants and within 48 hours and no expense I have a tree with over 300 names with dates spreading out into 4 family's and dates as far back as 1550 the Norwegians know how to keep records ! And they are all easy and free to find !

Our great British empire ....
inconsistent records and costs a fortune to research. The help and support on here has been fantastic tho this site has gave me great leads and roots to follow some successful some not so but much appreciated
