Grave stone
« on: Sunday 10 September 17 16:27 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I am hoping that someone lives close to a cemetery in Warrington as I am looking to get a photo of a grave stone, my problem is that I don't know which cemetery it is in but have got a picture of the said stone but without the full names on it.The top inscription was Rose Mitchell who died 28th february 1966 age 63 years, under that should be her Husband Thomas who died in 1970.

Hi,

Using the link to Warrington Burial Records that rosie99 posted above, it shows that they are both buried in Warrington Cemetery.

Details for Rose Ann Mitchell & Thomas Francis Mitchell here: http://burialrecords.warrington.gov.uk/GenLocDetails.aspx?ID=36063

On the Index list it shows that Rose was aged 63 years & Thomas was aged 87 years.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards

Oh, no  :'( :'( :'(  If you ever need another certificate, birth, marriage or death in England and Wales then ALWAYS order direct from GRO (General Register Office) at a cost of £9.25 including postage!!  You can do it on-line - just register (no charge) and you can pay by card.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
