I think I've been able to tie up the location of HMS Lookout plus the locations of the 99th Gen Hospital to reach an informed conclusion. The Scarlet Finders information was helpful once MaxD pointed out the spelling error. The movement of the 99th Gen Hospital explained why the sailor had returned to the UK earlier than originally expected too.
