Any ideas on date for this very happy little girl, she is an enigma to us at the moment think her name is Margaret just trying to figure out where she fits in 😏

Hi Bailey and welcome to Rootschat...are you getting an error message? Your file needs to have a unique name so you may want to add numbers after the file name, your file  also needs to be just below the 500kb limit to post.

Love the doll - she seems to have articulated arms . . . .and  porcelain or '.    ' head. Can't remember the name I have heard used. 

Come in Antiques Roadshow to give an idea of age of doll!   I wonder if dating the doll might help?   ;)

I am making a guess at early 1900s . . . . .   don't know why!  Maybe the hair-ribbon is making me lean that way.

 Hope the 'daters' come by soon.

Were you thinking of "bisque" Wiggy? Made mainly in Germany and France and gave a matt finish. China gave a gloss finish, porcelain was a sort of cover all name.

I think post 1915 and into the early 20s, have a picture of my eldest aunt wearing one born 1920.
