Winifred and George can be seen on the US 1930 and 1940 census.
The 1940 census is interesting ...........

Ballston, Saratoga, New York 1940

George Stodgell   42
Winifred Stodgell 41
Robert Stodgell   21
Elizabeth Stodgell   19
Daughter "P" Stodgell   1
Louise Sargent   83 Born England. Widowed. Mother-In-Law. Alien.

Louise King may have remarried - it certainly looks like the age would be correct for her.

Golden Anniversary notice...in the Schenactady Gazette Aug 6, 1966.  Can't figure out how to post the link to the specific newspaper page.  You can find it by searching for Stodgell here.
http://www.fultonhistory.com/Fulton.html

You will find other references to your family here as well.  You don't have to login, or get a user name etc.  Just search using the panel on the left of the screen.
