Such a pity they are both in the same year but it may have been best to wait & see what Annie's DC says?

Looking at the references (this is an educated guess)!!!...

Although different areas the 2nd set look as though Annie died later in the year than that Robert?
This of course is no help even if she's a widow on her own death  ::)

Annie's ref. is 613/ 792

That Robert's ref. is 644/ 97

Annie

There is also a possible death in Govan in 1953 for a Robert Craig age 47 (644/17 931). Minnie Clark
Or Craig died in Govan in 1952 age 78 ( 644/17 879) and there is also a possible death for Robert Snr in Govan in 1943 age 70 (644/17 336). All of these deaths can be viewed online at Scotlandspeople.

Thanks Annie. Apologies to you Isobel, I think our messages must have crossed, I hadn't read the thread properly.

I have now received Annie's death certificate and she was widowed at the time of her death on 22nd August 1991.

I will take a look at those earlier Robert Craig deaths on Scotlands People now. Thank you both for all of your valuable help.

Hello Annie, I looked at the 1953 death's, but unfortunately not my Craig. Thank you for the information on Minnie's death, I have downloaded that certificate, that is very helpful. Best wishes, Stephen
