I think Carol speaks for all of us in her response.

I love seeing the work of other restorers who add their own 'personal touch' through colour, framing, softening, etc. It's wonderful to see so many different restorations of the same photo!

For me, portraits like this one are a real joy to work on! Apart from the paper texture, the photo is in good shape. You also made a good quality scan which makes life a lot easier!

I've attached (yet another!) 'stylised' rather than 'restored' version.
