[SOLVED] Reason for discharge? 42nd Foot Regiment 1818.
« on: Monday 09 October 17 01:57 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help with what it says under section 3d for 'certificate of the cause of discharge'?

Can't really make it out, seems it's some sort of fever but that's all I can tell?

Many thanks,
Liviani.

Wow! Thanks for this. I had never heard of this before, I've read up on this now. I've learned a lot about this man already from just this one document. Fantastic, thanks.

Can anyone perhaps decipher the rest of the paragraph, it seems to mention a separate incident/illness and something to do with vision?

Liviani.
