Is that from a will, or probate?

Was Anne mentioned as a recipient of money or goods, from William's estate?

Jamjar

No Anne didn't inherit anything from the estate of William that I know of. I was hoping that the mention of Anne might have led me to more on Frances. I know they are connected somehow but I just can't find that missing link.

I know it doesn't really help with finding Frances Elizabeth, however there is this interesting article about Francis BEDDEK, his career and marriage to Elizabeth BLACHFORD and family, including the COX connection.

Re the marriage to William J LENNON in 1839 and recorded in St Andrews (Presbyterian) registers.

I see there are TWO entries listed in the index of the NSW BDM for this marriage:
1839, Volume 74A, line 3267
1839, Volume 75, line 501

Both are indexed as
William J LENNON marrying Frances E WILKINSON or PHILLIPS.

Do you have a copy of either of those marriage entries in the NSW BDM Early Church Records?

If not, perhaps you could consider ordering an official transcription of ONE of them …. If so, then likely the one in Volume 75 perhaps may have a tad more info than the one in 74A.   In either instance, there will be scant info.   I suspect volume 75 will be the original parish register and volume 74a will be the transmitted record to St Andrews (in its capacity as ‘head’ of the Church of Scotland in NSW).     On some occasions the clergy may have recorded the ship of arrival and/or the age of bride and groom and/or the name of a person giving consent IF either party was a minor (not yet 21 years of age) or if either was under a bond (ie and thereby requiring consent of the NSW Governor).
