Negretti & Zambra records?
« on: Saturday 04 November 17 10:30 GMT (UK) »
Another question related to trying to confirm whether photos I have are of my great great grandmother.

I have a second photo taken by the Negretti & Zambra photographic studio which has a number on the back to be quoted to obtain copies.  This studio no longer exists, but I believe it was quite famous and is historically important. Does anyone know whether it is likely that records would have been kept (I realise this is a long shot!) and if so who I could try to contact?

Thank you again.

Hi,
Try the following site, they may know a bit more about this branch of the company.

Negretti and Zambra were makers of fine optical and measuring devices, (https://londonhistorians.wordpress.com/2010/09/23/negretti-zambra/)
