Samuel Bewick, born 1842 Northumberland, married Susanna

I am trying to sort out which Susanna Samuel Bewick married.

The marriage took place in June quarter 1868 at Newcastle upon Tyne.
I am certain that he married a Susanna, as that is the name of his wife in the census’s which follow. She is born, according to the census’s, in Coxhoe, Durham.

I have found a possible marriage to a Susanna Robinson, registered June Qtrt 1868 @ Newcastle upon Tyne District Vol 10b, Page 151 as per FreeBDM.
Family Search gives Vol 10b Page 154.

However, when I check various family trees, all give a Susanna Forster, but no source for the information. I have checked the various sites, and cannot locate a marriage to a Susanna Forster.

Can someone on Rootschat land point me in the right direction, as I have taken Susanna Robinson as the correct person.

Any help would be very gratefully accepted.

You are missing a step.  You need to work backwards which means looking at the children's births and finding the maiden surname of their mother before you start to look for a marriage.

As far as I can see, the mother's maiden surname for all of the children is ROBINSON.
