Hopefully  someone will be able to help me

Been looking for a relative for a number of years and keep checking every now and then . I noticed on my ancestry his name come up on the passenger list of Fremantle Western Australia 1897-1963 but I do not have a world 🌍 account

His name is Sidney John Downe . He was born 1875 Devon .

Hoping  someone has copy so I can finally confirm where he went to from England

   It shows Sidney J DOWNE arriving 27 Feb 1962 on Fairsky from Southampton.   I think this is too recent to be your man.   But here is passenger list

What were his parents names?
NSW death 26/2/1958 #5742 Sidney John DOWNES; Father-Mark; Mother-Eliza; Bathurst

Edit to Add: above NSW BDM has Sidney. Headstone has Sydney with age 72 at death so does not match

I see on the up-loaded entry (in the family Bible?) that Sidney John DOWNE was recorded as born in Portsmouth, and the up-loaded birth certificate shows a registration for a John DOWNE at 27 Nelson Road, Portsea (b 15 Oct 1875, parents George, shipwright and Jessica Mary nee DRAKE.  So his birthplace is not Devon.

According to this record he was still around Portsmouth in 1899 when he is shown as a member of the Royal Sussex Lodge, Landport

There is a John DOWNE, 23, shoemaker, arriving into Melbourne 9 July 1903, per ship Darmstadt from Fremantle  Listed just below him in the same shipping record are:
Jas DOWNE, 25, shoemaker
John DOWNE, 27, labourer
Lucy DOWNE - no occ shown     All shown as English
So I don't think this is your man.
