Looking for the baptisms of this couple John Moore and Mary Barton
« on: Friday 15 December 17 20:44 GMT (UK) »
Hi

This couple married at Cambridge All Saints in 1718. Their children were baptised in Great Shelford and there is an Elizabeth Moore baptised in G S in 1698. Any help would be much appreciated..

Kind Regards

David ;)

Hi Keyboard

Many thanks, the real mystery is Mary Barton, I suspect that it may be one of the Cambridge City parishes.

Kind Regards

David :D

Hi again, will certainly look, though what always gets me it seems to be assumed especially in these very early marriages that both the Groom & Bride were born in the county, how many times have I seen a thread where in most cases the Groom was of a nearby village/town to the marriage, does not mean he was born there or even the County?!
