So possibly the Sarah was baptised 1720 the same as the Elizabeth DRUE but in a different location?

Knowing Swaffham Prior it must be 40 odd miles from Swaffham?

Hi Keyboard

That is the only assumption I can think of, I wondered   how I can access the Settlement papers to see the reasons for the relocation to Swaffham Prior and the names of the children mentioned in the papers.

Kind Regards

David :D

What about all the John + Elizabeth Drue baptisms in Swaffham after 1720? Next one was Edward, 10 October 1721
See the beautifully written parish register here

Meanwhile,
Sarah Drew was baptized in Swaffham Prior, 2 October 1720

So I suppose it is possible a John DRUE married an Elizabeth somewhere c 1720  and the the couple moved to Swaffham and had a family?

Somewhere, but where? And how much of a family already in Wormegay?

What's that all about? Right man, wrong man?

Looks like the John/Elizabeth DRUE were having children until 1729 Swaffham?

FreeReg
Swaffham, St Peter and St Paul, Norfolk
Baptism date 10 Oct 1721
Person forename Edw:d
Father forename John
Father surname   DRUE
Mother forename Eliz:th

I honestly think Swaffham, Norfolk, looks a bit unlikely now.

John Drue married Margaret Brown, 28 July 1751, Swaffham Prior, Cambridgeshire.
I have no knowledge of whether this is the John from earlier, a son of his, or someone unrelated.
John

Hi Keyboard and Jon

Bang goes another theory, back to the drawing board. The only nagging doubt I have ia about the settlement papers from Wormegay Norfolk to Swaffham Prior . Did he and the family move from their I thin I need to get hold of the papers and find out what happened to that family. Jon how can I access the Settlement papers you mentioned earlier. Thank you both so much for all your kind assistance.

Kind Regards :D :D
