More on the Nicholas SADLEIR who married in Victoria and died in 1904 NSW

He was born 26 Oct 1834 Tipperary, Ireland.  His parents were Thomas SADLEIR and Elizabeth CLARKE.  Father's occupation was a gentleman.  This Nicholas also had a brother in Victoria.

An aside....Nicholas the convict's defence at the trial was he was at home with his father.  Perhaps you could look for possible parents living in the locality of his misdemeanor with the surname SADLIER.

The 1841 census shows Nicholas at Parkhurst Prison and not born in county but does not show him as Irish.

I was attempting to show the Irish Nicholas SADLEIR was not the convict.   I'm sure Tony would have the census information.

I had thought that "SADLIER" would be an uncommon name.    How wrong can an innocent researcher
be ???     Nevertheless, you have given me sufficient ideas to continue the search before the pending tray looms large.
