« on: Saturday 20 January 18 13:18 GMT (UK) »
Hi - I need help to read a three names on this marriage certificate.
I can work out :
Father's name is James Brenan labourer (deceased) & Mothers names is Isabella Brenan, but what is Maiden surname ???
And under name of Mother's details I can't make out the father's christian name .. is it Pharlaw? I know the surname is McPartlan
Also the maiden surname of Agnes ...does it say Nullan?
Thank you for reading my  query.

I read them as "Hollerin" and "Neillan"; neither's a common name but you come across both in the West of Scotland (Glasgow, Renfrew, Lanarkshire, Dunbartonshire)

Agree with Hollerin and Neillan. Could they be of  Irish origin?

Thanks all! I think at least one of the couple marrying originated from Ireland. Hopefully with those surnames is should make my search a bit easier.
