There's a marriage 1 November 1857 , Church School, Salisbury, South Australia -  James Bright and Joyce Cox (Joyce is named as the widow in the death notice above), fathers' names William Bright & George Cox

Death of Joyce BRIGHT

BRIGHT.—On the 21st April, at her daughter's residence, Mrs. J. S. McLean, Jacob-street, Gawler, Joyce Bright, relict of James Bright, a colonist of 75 years, leaving three sons and five daughters to mourn their sad loss of their dear mother, aged 83 years. The depth of our affection is not known until we part.

Murray McLean (9), of Kooringa avenue Plympton, had a narrow escape
from sustaining fatal injuries when he fell a distance of about 35 ft. on Satur
day afternoon. With other childrm he was climbing a tall gum tree in search
of birds nests, when the limb of the tree which he was standing on, snapped.
The boy fell, but came in contact with another limb which assisted to break
his fall. When he was picked up he was in a dazed condition. He was taken to the hospital suffering from abrasions and an injury to his abdomen. Last night the hospital authorities reported that his condition was not very serious, and that he was comfortable.
