Death Cetificate Look up Please

Hi Guys, I'm having trouble with a Death Certificate, I'm looking for the Death Certificate of Ada Smith, nee Horsman, Born 1884, Married Harry Smith on 14th Sep 1908. 1891 Census She was at Dale Cottage, Northowram.
1901 at 11, Lilac St, Ovenden.
1908 at 6, Garfield Street, Lee Mount.
Harry was living at 1, Seedhill Terrace, Mixenden, in 1908, Harry was a Greengrocer, Ada was a Dressmaker.
I must have overlooked her Death Cert, I ordered one from GRO, and i have a hunch it is the wrong person...any help would be really appreciated.

The only death for Halifax district is 1962 but they could have moved away from the area?

I would try and find them in the electoral rolls and see when they disappear.

I would start first with the 1911 census, and the 1939 National Register (on FindMyPast).

Because of copyright issues, we can't look these up for you.

Do you know her exact birthdate?  If so it would help you identify her, among all the other Smiths, in the 1939 Register available on Findmypast (if she was still alive then).

Added: birth registration seems to be Sep qtr 1884 Halifax.

A free index search for 1911 suggests they are in Mixenden then.

Their first son Donald, birth reg Mar qtr 1910, married Ethel Steele at King Cross, Halifax on 17 Apr 1933.

Father: Harry Smith, drawing overlooker
Residence: 17 Kingsley Place

Their second son Douglas, birth reg Jun qtr 1912, married Bessie Jenkinson at St James, Halifax on 22 Apr 1935.

Father: Harry Smith, overlooker
Residence: 17 Kingsley Place, Parkinson Lane

I was just going to ask if they had children,as that would make it easier to find them in 1911.

This seems to be the family in 1911 from the free Family Search website.

They seem to have stayed at the Kingsley Place, Halifax address (seen on the first two sons’ marriages) through the 1930s.

Birthdate for Ada seems to be 30 July 1884.

Youngest child Dorothy Irene Smith (born 1925) married Ralph Bottomley, Dec qtr 1955 Halifax.

She died as Dorothy Irene Bottomley in Bradford in 1977.
