Hi, cannot find death certificate for my Gt Grandmother.  Sophia Elizabeth Booth, last known address Timmins, Russia Lane. Info i have is that her son William was removed from there, and at the time he stated that she had died between Nov 1893/94. But to no avail can i find a death certificate she would have been 37 years old. Thank you for your help.

On 1891 she is 35, so I reckon that is near enough and I think the only one near to that date

Their daughter named Sophia Elizabeth mother could have used her middle name

Yes that is my Gt Grandmother, and that is the info I have. But cannot find death certificate.

Interesting record for Sophia jnr. is the school admission record for Shap Street School  dated 8 Jan 1894. Her parent/ guardian is named as Frederick Bradbury (with whom she is boarding in 1901). This would suggest that mother was deceased by this date, 8 Jan 1894. I agree with the suggestion that the death cert for Elizabeth Booth in Bethnal Green Oct - Dec 1893 may well be what you are looking for.

Yes Sophia and my Grandfather were brought up by their Aunt and Uncle, will have a look at gro for Sophia.
