Casablanca birth records
« on: Saturday 17 February 18 11:24 GMT (UK) »
My mother-in-law was Severine Adragna born  23rd April 1922 in Casablanca to an Italian father (Antonino).

I have searched high and low and cannot find any more details. At the time Casablanca was under French rule; it's possible that records were destroyed after the French were forcibly removed. Has anyone any advice as to where I could find such details as birth certificates etc? Many thanks.

Hello
Not my area but it looks like the records are in France.

/genealogy.stackexchange.com/questions/3590/how-can-i-access-records-from-morocco

The link from that page to details of the microfilms held no longer works but usually the records for France are by local area.
It looks like they are held at the Center of Diplomatic Archives at Le Courneuve

Contact  Archives: lecture.archives @ diplomatie.gouv.fr
Library: biblio.archives @ diplomatie.gouv.fr

I'd try an email to them and see what they say.
