Scougal

Hi
Are there any Scougals out there.
My Grandmother was Sarah Annie Scougal from Northumberland.
I have traced quite a few but it would be nice to find some living relatives

Only 13 births for that surname in Northumberland so names could not be mentioned here as Rootschat has a no living persons policy

Your gran was born in 1894 so if you need help researching her ancestry just let us know.

However, if you are looking for living relatives - we can’t help - but you could see if anybody else is researching the surname by scrolling down and selecting Surname Interests from Tools at the bottom of this page

If you go on to 192.com and enter the surname Scougal you will get 189 results in the Electoral Rolls. No charge but if you want any further info it is pay per view
Using the names found you could try the social media sites to see if some of the younger ones are on there.

This looks like the family in 1901, so have you traced all of them, or do you just want those bearing the Scougal surname?

Geo Wm Scorgal   33
Alice Fail Scorgal   30
James Scorgal   8
Sarah Annie Scorgal   6
Catherine Scorgal   3
Robert Scorgal   9/12

You can also look through probate records to help confirm possible marriages and then try to trace children.
