Great grandmother Julia Price
« on: Sunday 18 March 18 18:44 GMT (UK) »
Would someone be able to point me in the right direction. I'm having trouble finding out much about my great grandmothers family. Her name is julia price born on 23rd may 1907 in stoke on trent. Now i have found her birth record and marriage record, she married Bernard Slater. I thought I may find her on the 1911 census so I could at least find her father's name ( her mother died either during child birth or not long after Julia's birth, so we are told). My great uncle has given me the names of her brothers and is hopefully going to try and find what paperwork they have regarding Julia (but I'm impatient and it's driving me mad lol). Would everyone have filled in the 1911 census or did some not bother?
Thanks in advance for any advice

Could you give us the names of her brothers (if they are no longer with us) and we can cross check mothers name is Middleton.

Although if she was born in May, September quarter is pretty late!

Well it's the same year at least!

If her mother did pass away soon after she was born then she must be the youngest so brothers would be older.

The names my great uncle gave me were James, Len, Ernie, Jack and George. They would of all been born before 1907

6 weeks after 23 May brings us to 30 June [almost July! - which will be September quarter] so it may have been a registration at limit of time allowed.

Have you found any of them in 1911?
