William ROWE and Sarah GRAND
« on: Tuesday 20 March 18 15:26 GMT (UK) »
I'm trying to find information on William Rowe (Row) (177? - 184?) and his wife Sarah Grand (1770 - 1845). I have their marriage certificate showing them marrying on 7 November 1786 in Bessingham church, but I can find no further details of William. I have located two possible baptisms: 5 August 1764 at St Julian Norwich (giving parents as William and AmyRose) 8 July 1770 at Great Ryburgh (parents Clement and Ann) but not sure either is correct! Any help gratefully received! Thanks.

The 1770 baptism he would be 16 when married so not likely.
The St Julian Norwich 1764 is too far away from Bessingham.

I would look at Diss, Garboldisham, Aylsham and other villages closer to Bessingham.
