Photo.
« on: Thursday 05 April 18 11:14 BST (UK) »
 Hi everyone.
Could someone help and tell me what part of the group  I can get help on to do a photo of my dad  when he was in his teens. ?

I sent a photo once  before  he was in a group of people on a strike  picket.  I don't know which of the group  to send my photo to. It isn't  damaged  like marks  on it .I just want to have it clearer.

Thank you  everyone.  Any help  would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dorothy

you could try our photo restoration board

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/free-photo-restoration/

You have to scan the photo and attach it a post on the board.

You won't get a good image using a camera.

people there will do their best for you but sometimes it isn't always possible to make a bad picture better.

Hope this helps.

If you send a photo, the message might not appear for a few hours as all photos are "screened" first before going to Board.

And its the only one I have of my dad.

Brilliant  thank you again for your help.
Much appreciated.

Here it is http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=783300.msg6379559#msg6379559 but the folks on the photo board have already said they can't make it much clearer than it already is.

Hi Dorothy

As Jen says, there is nothing that can be done for the strike photo but I'm sure if you start a new topic the restorers might be able to help with the photo of your dad here

Do you have the original of this or was it sent to you by email?

As Dawn says, the second one on that thread (your Dad)  could be improved.

Here's a small version of your blurry one that I've just brought up a bit.  If you could do a better scan, it might be improved.

Put the pictures that you want to have restored on the Photo Board as Dawn says:

Hi everyone.
Thank you again for your help.
I remember the photo I sent last time. The one where my dad was on strike.

This other one I was sent via email. It is original photo  from my half sisters  file's.  Her daughter sent it to me.

I will  certainly  do what was suggested.
Thank you again for your help
