Henry George Clark
« on: Tuesday 10 April 18 11:44 BST (UK) »
Henry George Clark was born in Wraysbury Buckinghamshire about 1866 [father Richard Samuel and mother Eliza Hirst]. In 1881 he was an apprentice wheelwright with his father; 1900 he married Olive Berry and in 1901 they were living in Wraysbury in a builder's house and yard, Henry an employer and contractor.
However in 1901 Olive and two children were with her parents but I can't find Henry George at all. There is a suggestion that he went to South Africa.
So what happened to Olive and the children?
Did they separate?
Where did Henry go?
I cannot find a death certificate for him that I am sure IS him, so I would appreciate any help to locate the family. Thank you

Please can you set out (transcribe) the 1901 census entries you have found?  At the moment we don’t know Olive’s birthdate or birthplace, or any details of the children, making it hard to help you trace them.

Is that a typo? In 1901 Henry and Olive are together, no children.

Olive claims she is married, not a widow, in 1911, which suggests Henry is around somewhere.
