Elias George Emmett

My relation arrived in Melbourne on the 'Beltana' 1911 with wife Kate and step daughter Kate Victoria                     Degenhard.  Voting lists show him (I hope it is him) listed:
1913 Balaclava, 1914 Yarra, 1915/17/19/21 Yarra, 1922 Melbourne Ports, 1924-42 Flinders, 1949 Isaacs.
He died 30 Mar 1954 Cheltenham Hospital.
Could anyone suggest where I might look next.  I don't seem to have found a trace of him anywhere.
