Family in civil parish of the bars with st. George.
« on: Sunday 15 April 18 17:34 BST (UK) »
Hi, I am looking for a family that were living in this parish in 1871 as they were there in 1881. They were Thomas Hogan 58, Ellen 42 and children William 13 John 11 all ages as of 1881. Thomas pob given as Tipperary London in 1881.  Any help much appreciated.

The family are in St Andrew Holborn in 1881 - also children Timothy 9 & Ellen 8.

They are also possibly in George Court, St Andrew Holborn in 1871

I wonder if William is Patrick

Having looked at the originals of both census they are living at 4 George Court, St Andrews, Holborn on both occasions so got to be the same family  ;D

Thomas, Patrick & John all born St Andrews according to 1871.

Thanks for your help, on the 1881 census I found the family was Thomas 58, Ellen 42, William 13 John 11 Timothy 9 Ellen 8, so am I right in thinking that in 1871 its the same except the younger two children ?  Also in 1881 Thomas pob was given as Tipperary London !  many thanks.

In 1881 Thomas's place of birth is Tipperary - London is on the next line against Ellen so the transcript is wrong  :)
