Looking to establish if a Nellie May. Hopper/Hooper  was baptised in St Giles in latter part of 1905. Wish to know if parents are mentioned. Thank you.

I can't see a baptism for her at St Giles, Camberwell. But there were many other churches in the Camberwell area at that date.

Have you tried searching for Nellie May in the GRO births index to find her mother’s maiden name?
https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/indexes_search.asp

When you have that, you can enter the two surnames on FreeBMD and search for a possible marriage of the parents.
https://www.freebmd.org.uk

Both these resources can be searched free online.

Are you sure this Camberwell birth is the person you're looking for? There's a death in Camberwell in the first quarter of 1911 for a Nellie May Hopper aged 5 (Camberwell 1d 480).

Thank you for both replies . Will now cross reference with what we have discovered already. The death of Nellie May. Hopper. In 1905 was of great interest. Regards Eirwen
