Hello again.
Different  topic.
Can anyone please help me on something  completely different. I have never asked this before  not that I know of.

I'm trying to get  my dad's  christening  certificate. . I have no idea  where or how to get it.

He was born in Bradford Manchester.  September 1910 and baptised  October  1910.

I'm not sure what else  to put except  for  my dad's name. Which is vincent cooper. Dob 27th /09/1910.

I hope  this is alright to put?

Thank you again for your time and help.

Hi Dorothy

For those who haven't been following your previous threads, can you tell us who his parents were?

And from his birth certificate, where was he born which will be on the left side of the certificate and where were his parents living when they registered his birth?

How do you know when he was baptised? If you know that do you know where he was baptised? I would think that the best thing would be to contact the church directly and ask if it is possible to have a copy.

I've had a pm from Dorothy

His mother was Mary Ann Cooper, but he was brought up by his grandparents Samuel & Isabel Cooper, thinking that Mary Ann was his older sister.

My  dad's,
Mum is mary ann cooper. She had my dad out of wedlock.
His father's  name isn't on his birth certificate. Only  his mum's.  And there address was 130 cross street. Bradford Manchester

I have a copy of my dad's  baptism certificate. Which I was sent by my half sister afew year's ago.  She did say she has his confirmation certificate.  And would send it me by email. That was 3 year's ago. When I asked her about  afew day's later she said it was in her boxes as she had just moved and would send it me after she unpacked everything.
I'm still waiting.  From what the certificate  said on my dad's baptism certificate.  It was a church called  st Anthony de pauls  it also had a second  name with it. Like 2 names of saints.

I don't even know  if the church is still  there. Or even  if they have any records of  my dad's confirmation.

I also  have a baptism  certificate  for my granmother  ( mary ann cooper ) she was baptised  in the same church. Years before.

Well thank you again for helping me with this. I'm  really grateful for your help thank you again.

Hi Dorothy

The church's name sound very Roman Catholic to me.

Maybe someone can find the details of the church for you.

I expect the church still has its records.

Hi again.
Thank you for that.
I've just sent my half sister  a message  to see if she knows. And see if she can send me the copy of my dad's confirmation.

She might not but it's worth asking.  What ever  the answer is  I will  definitely  let everyone  know either way.
Thank you again for helping me.
