David Bern died in 1892 - where?
« on: Thursday 10 May 18 09:44 BST (UK) »
Hi there

I've attached a line from a record of "Deaths at Sea, reported to the Registrar General of Shipping etc." in the hope the place of death, for David, in the third column can be deciphered for me.  The column is headed "Place of Death".  He died of Yellow Fever as did the following six men on the record - all at the same place.

Regards

Family surnames being researched ...
Crawford, Neilson, Lindsay, Reekie, Davidson
Drummond, Laing, Pearson, Tulloch ... will do for starters but there's a whole lot more!

Thanks ShaunJ

Looking at again, and with your response, it's quite obvious really.  I got thrown a bit by the entry above it for "Karachi"  :-[

Another "case" closed  :)
