Leonard C Tayler wouldn't be in your tree if you have no record of Thomas C Tayler.
Leonard could be the son of Thomas C Tayler (if it is yours) Nothing to positively identify them on voters lists but gives an avenue to search.

Do you not have a Leonard H Tayler (brother of Thomas) - perhaps he would be named after him  ???
Fits in with family naming pattern.

I have got Thomas Charles TAYLER. (b 1873)

I am thinking that Leonard C could be the son of Thomas, and yes his uncle would be Leonard H.
