unknown photo can anyone pick out detail on these two men

this photo among my family photo collection is this two men wondered if anyone can give any clues on era etc

Right hand man almost certainly Gordon Highlanders, the other's badge not so clear although everything else seems similar.  The shoulder title on the right looks like a Territorial Force title, ie Gordons curved with a T and a number above (Google shoulder titles Gordon Highlanders)

Man on the left does not have the cut away tunic of a kilted regiment, someone may know what that may indicate (if anything), he also has no shoulder titles.

I too noticed the different tunics. It's possible that as the man on the left is wearing the post 1915 economy tunic the Army made just the one style for all Regiments by this time.
