The Rev. E. J. Simons was superintendent Wesleyan minister of Castle Donington in 1920, when he preached a special Sunday sermon at Weston Wesleyan Chapel.

Edward John Simons, of Moorlands Cottage, Clarendon Road Broadstone Derbyshire died 30 Jul 1934, Administration Bristol 23 Aug to Annie Margaret Simons widow.

GRO shows age of 71 which matches with 1863 birth.

Daughter Margaret Emily appears to have become a missionary and spent time in China in the 1920's.
