Looks like John William Craggs and Georgina Annie Farr were married in Toronto on May 8th 1912.

Birth of George Edward Craggs, son of John W Craggs and Georgina Farr...also in Toronto.  John W is listed as a plumber.

Checking the 1912 Toronto Directory... there is a John Craggs, plumber at Bennet & Wright Co.

Still in Toronto when John W Craggs signs up for WW1.  Here are his attestation papers... and you can also access his full military service file for free from this page (really slow to load)

Attestation papers say next of kin is his wife Annie G Craggs

1920 Toronto Directory, John W Craggs is at 2195 Queen Street, Toronto.  The WW1 Attestation papers (number 3 of 4...the typed one) showed wife Annie G was at 2191 Queen Street... so I expect it is the same couple, just a house or two down the road.

Don't see a listing for John W Craggs in the 1921 or 1922 Toronto directory (not Annie/Georgina on her own either).   Perhaps this is when they moved away from Toronto.

I am not finding them on the 1921 census yet.

Like RunKitty can not see them on the 1921 Census they did travel back to England several times

Thank you for the information. I wonder if she remarried and moved. I do know that she was a continuity announcer for a radio station in Toronto (?) I did email one was but did not get a response. Ah well onwards and upwards

Just found out, from my sister, that Georgina did remarry, and to a Scotsman. This should be easy then, not!

Not been able to find her on any  outward journey in 1947  She certainly is hiding well 


Just seen your post about her marrying again would that have been in Canada ?
