Austin 12 Heavy Clifton tourer 1926 onwards

I agree with the Austin 12.

The Austin 7 (at least the ones I have seen) don't have the front leaf suspension clearly visible.

Bit late to this topic as had problems logging in, but can advise that the registration NL is Norhumberland County Council. The first number can only be a 6 or 8 with three other numbers. If it is a 6 then the year of registration is 1924. If it is an 8 then the year of registration is 1925. Cannot be any later than December 1926 when the letters changed completely. It would indeed seem to be an Austin 12/4. It became known as the Heavy Twelve Four to differentiate it from the later Light 12/6. 69,444 12/4 cars made between 1922 and 1939.
