Sarah Jane Hall's marriage in 1878 to Thomas Morris names father as James Hall occ Ships Carpenter. One witness was Mary Ellen Hall

That fits.
However back to original query, William Morris seems to be settled on the Wirral in 1939 after marriage in 1914.
He may have had a spell at sea but later reverted to his first occupation but marriage certificate would be needed to check his occupation then.

Fanny Morris - Birth Approx 1890 ish

 Fanny Morris Married louis Jessel 1913 in Liverpool
Louis & Fanny look like they had a son named Daniel Jessel (I suspect he changed his surname to James)
They look like they moved to Canada .. I have a number of listings suggesting they were in this area.

My particular interest is Fanny Morris and if she has links to the previously named Morris family members in the posts already placed within this thread with the help of others.

This is an important piece of a jigsaw for myself and I ask for any help in establishing fanny Morris links .. I understand she is from the Liverpool area..
Please if anyone can open this lead up I would be grateful.

I can see a similar couple in indexes re Canada but you do not have a subscription.

Details re burial of Fanny in 1975 shows father Benjamin.

When Louis Jessel (James) and Fanny nee Morris arrived in Canada in 1921 Fanny, Listed her nearest relative and address as S Morris and address was 42 Vine Street, Liverpool .. I think we are too early for the 1921 Census however is there any other way to review this residential address and the tenants / owners ? .. The fathers name being a Benjamin and the initial of S Morris ?

Liverpool Electoral Registers are on Ancestry but not free this weekend unfortunately or I would look it up. You can search at 5 year intervals, years in between are a bit tricky as you have to use browse and track down the address.

Thank you blue.. a good tip.. I have looked at 1920 and 1925 .. nothing jumped out. But thank u for the support. 1920 was not listed and in 1925 it was not Morris in the address

In a 1945 image of a passenger list that Fanny filled in, She highlights that she was born in Sheffield.. So a birth of abt 1895, Sheffield.. We know she lived in Liverpool and uses 42 Vine Street (Early 1921), Liverpool that was her mother .. Initial S Morris.. Now does she have a father in her life ? It was suggested that her father had the name of Benjamin? Not completely proven .. Also Benjamin aligned to a Hebrew name? is it? I am not up to speed with this.. When she is arriving in Canada she lists staying with brother n law H Jessel and address 340 Adelaide Street, Toronto..

I am trying to see if Fanny Morris is related to all the previous Morris named family mentioned in this thread and feel I need to take her back a generation to link up.. Sheffield adds another different twist ..
