Sorry but I didn't know the dates when I posted my opinion. Just thought the elderly man's photo had been well protected!

No need to apologise for being helpful...it's an easy mistake to make when you are focusing on likeness

It makes me more convinced that the 2 lads are related despite the different colour of hair.

Ah, my bad TreeTotal. Just couldn't resist doing the restoration to help with the ID.

Was working on the medals from the first image to make them clearer, but I will abandon that.

My thought on the dates were 1920's/30's. for both.

Thanks for that Jim....the first is Dated 1937 but wasn't too sure about the second one as I'm not that good at dating men.
