The school he taught in was in Folkestone so this could be him. I'll chase up his marriage and possible child

My pals and I were under the impression he'd been in a Jap POW Camp, seems we were right. He was captured in Singapore. Just Googled his full name and Bingo!

Family search has this, not sure if they are connected in some way, but the name Copeland stands out. There is a Thomas Copeland Savage d. NZ 1915 with an image [will]. A little further down is a Miss M C Savage travelling to Sydney from NZ.
