just out of curiosity I wonder who Edward B Shorrock was

He was a lodger with Mary Waddington in 1861 and Ann was his housekeeper in 1881 & 1891 and was still living in his house in 1901 after Edward had died in 1898

not found Ann in 1871

Ann is living with her mother in 1871 - transcribed as Harras and Edward Shorrock was also in the house.

But I hadn't spotted the 1901 census for Ann so thanks for that
