I agree that we need to see more of the page so we can make comparisons, if at all possible, please.  But to start the ball rolling, I'll thrown in a suggestion of Charleston, Mississippi.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,

I wondered about Chur too, but I couldn't make anything sensible out of the second word.

Could it be Kurhessen - the Electorate of Hesse. It appears to have had a rather complicated history - see eg this page at Wikipedia:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electorate_of_Hesse
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson

So why not "Chur-Hesse" ?
Ballingall, Donaldson, Fulton, Gillespie, Ramsay, Walker - in Fife.
Bury - in Salford & Liverpool.
Jack - in Glasgow, Dunfermline & Dundee.
Bermingham/Birmingham - in Cork.
Eagle - in Norfolk, Edinburgh & Glasgow.

I didn't find any evidence that it had been spelled like that. Do you have any?

No, none at all, but that's how it reads to me.

Bury - in Salford & Liverpool.
Jack - in Glasgow, Dunfermline & Dundee.
Bermingham/Birmingham - in Cork.

Going along with Chur-Hessen solely on the basis of finding a folk costume painting of Chur Hessen an der Schwalm https://www.zvab.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=5185512772&searchurl=hl%3Don%26tn%3Dchur%2Bhessen%26sortby%3D20

The double ss is clearer than it was when I first looked.

(The fact that the Schwalm is in North Rhine Westphalia does not preclude the name Hesse/Hessen apperaing in a name)
