I have just found a Arthur James Drumm buried in West Terrace, DOD 22.4.1914 aged 41.  This fits except for spelling of last name.
he is buried with a Frances Drumm DOD 28.8.1904 aged 50 (born 1854) and this could be his mother - I will follow this through.
cheers

Good find Megan  :)

The funeral notice for Arthur J DRUMM in 1914 says the funeral will leave his residence Cross Roads, Clarence Park http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article58501523

I found an in memoriam, think 1917, on Trove for Arthur Drumm, but can’t find it again.

It was from son ‘Bert’. Could be Arthur Albert - 1899-1960.

Thanks, JM.

It is looking like it’s the correct chap.

I can’t find a death for father, James.

Megan, if the name was in fact DRUMM, I’d suggest looking at Irish records.
