Ancestry tree sharing with family
« on: Saturday 01 September 18 19:55 BST (UK) »
Recently put my tree on Ancestry, which has a facility to share with those on ancestry via user names or via email with friends or family.

Have invited a few family members to view via their email but they cannot access.

Anybody else had this problem?

Have they accepted the invitation, in the email they would have received from Ancestry?

You're right of course KG, and if they haven't registered and used the password given in the invitation, they won't get in.  I have a couple who didn't register because they thought they were going to have to pay.  Now, when I set up an invitation, I make a point of telling the recipient that access is free to them, they won't need to pay anything, just register as requested, keep a note of their given password, and they can return any time from thereon!

Give that a try Cas!  👍
