I've just had word back from my cousin in Australia who has the original. (I thought another cousin had it). I've asked her if she has any more information. She did send me the original photograph of the Daguerreotype. She thinks the sleeve style is more from the 1850's but if that is the case then that would make her 20 (or more). Not impossible, but you don't know. Reading a bit more about the hairstyle then that was the fashion from mid 1840's to mid 1850's.
