Dear Rootschatters,

This old photo intrigues me because it has all the elements I like to see in a seashore photo. There are a lot of things going on in this picture. For me, it just has a good "feel" about it...something you don't often see in a snapshot of a beach scene.

In fact, it almost appears to be a painting rather than a photo, but I'm fairly certain it's a photo. It's from series of old photographs about "Old Florida" I found on Facebook.

This may be too much work or too big of a challenge, but would it be possible to clean it up and colour it? I really LIKE this picture. Also, can anyone please estimate the date the photo may have been taken?

I would say this is from the Edwardian era...I can see why you like it.

Not sure of the color scheme you wanted, but hope you enjoy my take on it.
