Family of George Walsh in Durban
« on: Saturday 20 August 05 15:40 BST (UK) »
Searching for the family of George Walsh b. 1917 in Liverpool who lived in Durban until his death. Left Liverpool in the 30's to work in the diamond fields I think! Married Betty and had Sylvia and I think a son as well. I have a photo with 13 Ash Lane Durban on the back. Also a letter from The Railway Hotel Durban to say that they were leaving on the SS Edinburgh Castle June 1952 to come home for a visit. I know George and probably Betty are deceased but would like to trace my cousins. Any help would be appreciated as I can't even get started with them.

Hi there,
Do you have the actual birthdate for George as i have found an estate file with a birthdate of  a George Edward Kendrick Walsh b 14 nov 1917. h edied in the Cape but that is not unusual as folk move around considerably.
Ruth
