James Downton
« on: Tuesday 30 August 05 21:28 BST (UK) »
Hi there,
Can anyone help with any info on James DOWNTON.
James was born in Alveley, Shropshire in 1865, son of Samuel & Sarah Downton.
The 1881 census records him as an  ordnance survey labourer lodging in Culmington.
Any info from the 1891 or 1901 census or any other info about James would be much appreciated

kindest Regards

Bit elusive, this chap. Found his brother Harry in Wales but can't spot James in England or Wales.

Sorry - perhaps someone else will find him
