look up please
« on: Saturday 03 September 05 17:48 BST (UK) »
If anyone is going to the National Archives, I would appreciate a lookup  for G/1358 Pte Samuel McGrath of the 2nd Garrison Bn R. Ir. Fusiliers. He is my Great Granddad and I have just been informed that his medals have turned up. He was awarded the BWM & Victory and a Services rendered wound badge. At this point, I would just like to know if his service records survived.
Thanks in advance
Bob

Hi Bob!

I can't help you I'm afraid - but you might try the Great War Forum - if you ask nicely - maybe somebody going to TNA might be able to help you  ::) ::) ::)
