I really want the 1st but when they went to France they changed to the 2nd!!
These guys just loved to mix and match to confuse me!!
Even the other posting I have - he was in another regiment also!!

i know the feeling annie,but its great fun aint it,you learn something every hour with ww1 research,why not do both battalions,its not beyond you,you know where to search,you have their details and you have the most important thing,DETERMINATION,i dont know anyone whos researching the south lancs,only you,go for it,this is a sample of the sort of background info that turns up.

As you know -  I love you to death BUT.........  :P
I HAVE to get the 1st done first - and look how many there is - not many!!
Look how many is in the 2nd - theres 100's of them .........!!
It will probably take a lifetime commitment - and a fortune to get all the cards - buy all the books I need -  ::) ::) etc. etc. plus trying to set up the web page and do my family tree AND a second web page for that - and guess what? -  I have to work too (what a concept......... !!)

It's going to be an ongoing project - that's for sure!!

So this George Blizzard - is he 2nd??............. !

annie,if you just use the opening page on the MIC cards you will get his name,rank,number and any other regts he served in,no need to download and pay for a card thats just going to tell you what medals he got,mack
