deciphering cause of death
« on: Wednesday 19 October 05 20:50 BST (UK) »
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum- not sure where it should be! Can anyone please read and interpret the bit between Measles and Bronchitis. It is with reference to the death of a 1 year old child.
I am trying to put a jpg on and have followed the instructions found elsewhere on this site but cannot do this - so am attaching it. I do hope it works.
Thanks
Heywood

Heather B.
Thanks a lot- I shall bear that in mind. There are no 'y's to compare it with on the rest of the cert. but there is a 'p' in September which has the same downward stroke. However in the absence of anything else I think your explanation sounds very reasonable and plausible.
Thanks for the immediate response.

I agree with Heather: it was normal to state how long the illness/ cause of death had lasted: in this case 8 days.

kind regards, Arranroots  ;)

Thanks again - it is for a contact in USA and we were both trying to add yet another disease into the poor child's death!
